the gods are not angry, what a cool seminar.
we are surrounded and controled by things outside of our own control.
seeing the balance between the gods, and how to sacrafice to them.
when in wealth, give more to show you are thankful
when poor, give more to show that you appreciate what you have been given, and that you need more
when is enough? what is enough?
the greater the sacrifice, the happier they will be
so the obvious next step is to give human lives
Does your God need blood to be shead?
Does your God demand that lives must be lost inorder to show thanksgiving?
my God is so much more than that. He is love, He is help, He is dependable, He is caring, He wants the best for us, He created us.
I love the example of the woman who was having visions of Jesus.
When confronted by an Arch Bishop, he asked her one question; if you really sees Jesus, ask him what were the last sins that he confessed.
After some time, the she had another vision of Jesus, and the Arch Bishop came to ask her about it. He asked what Jesus said, and her reply was something more beautiful than most can fathom; Jesus said “I can’t remember”.
Holding onto our sin and our guilt is something that weighs down so many people. too many people. Christ died for our sins, He took what we could never defeat on our own, and said follow me and be free.
